MONTE SMITH-Senior Minister

SERGII SEREDENKO-Youth Minister
Sergii Seredenko has been serving in youth ministry since 2008. His journey began at Kherson Christian Church in Ukraine, where he was part of the youth leadership team. Over the years, he helped organize youth camps, conferences and special events, and served in FCA ministry encouraging coaches and young people to grow in faith through sports. In 2021, he became the youth leader at a newly planted church in Kherson called Your Family Church ("Твоя Родина"), where he helped shape and develop the youth ministry from the ground up.He also had the privilege of leading in Young Life – a global outreach ministry to teenagers – where he served as club captain of Young Life "Sparta" in Kherson. It was a powerful time of connection, mentorship, and sharing the love of Jesus with teens from all walks of life. In 2022, after the war began in Ukraine, my wife and I, along with our three sons, relocated to the United States. Since then, we have become part of North Syracuse Christian Church, where I serve as the Youth Ministry Administrator. It’s been a blessing to continue serving young people here—walking alongside them as they grow in their relationship with Christ, discover their identity, and become strong, faith-filled leaders in their communities.

DERRICK TUPER-Associate Minister
Derrick has been a Minister for 20 years. He grew up in Potsdam, NY and moved to the Syracuse area in 1996. He and his wife, Beth were members at NSCC for nine years before Derrick became the Associate Minister at NSCC's sister church-Cornerstone Christian Church in 2005. In 2016 he became the Senior Minister. In Sept. of 2021 Cornerstone merged with NSCC and Derrick came on as the Associate Minister. Derrick and Beth have a son, Shaun.
